There are only 3 manufacturers of CoQ 10, all of which are based in Japan. The largest one is in the process of adding production capability in Japan, and also in Pasadena, Texas, hopefully by the end of 2005, and early 2006. Until then, the prices will be unstable, with an upward trend. The wholesale market price for pure CoQ 10 used to be around 0-900 per kilogram. It now runs between 2 and 4 thousand dollars a kilogram. As a result, many of the brand names we represent have been forced to raise their prices.
